Why use a unified substitution timetable?
A unified substitution timetable helps you distribute substitution periods across teachers in a clear and organized way, using rules and limits to prevent overload and save admin time.
1) Open the Setup Wizard
From the sidebar menu, open Substitution Timetable to access the Substitution Management page.
Then click the Setup card to open the Setup Wizard.
2) Choose “Unified Substitution List”
In step one of the wizard (Substitution Mode), select Unified Substitution List to create one substitution timetable for the entire school.
3) Configure rules and limits in the wizard
After setting the general options, click Next to move to Distribution Rules.
Once you choose the rules that match your school policy, click Next again to set the Weekly Substitution Limit per teacher.
On the review step, click Save & Finish.
4) Open the “Substitution Timetable” screen
After finishing the wizard, you’ll return to Substitution Management. To open the timetable grid, click the Substitution Timetable card.
5) Fill the timetable (manual or automatic)
Inside the Substitution Timetable screen, you can add teachers in two ways:
Manual entry
Click Add Teachers to fill the timetable manually.
Auto fill (fastest)
Click Auto Fill to generate substitution distribution quickly.
Select the days and periods, then click Create to complete the process.
6) Print
After the timetable is complete, click Print to generate a ready-to-print version.
