Step 4: Open Teacher Assignments

From the sidebar menu, click: Teacher Assignments to open the assignments page.

Why assign subjects?

Subject assignment links each teacher to the subjects they will teach for the relevant classes. This step is essential for accurate timetable generation and helps prevent mistakes and duplicate assignments.

1) Choose a teacher

On the Teacher Assignments page, select the teacher name you want to configure.

2) Assign subjects (color system)

Once you choose a teacher, you will see the list of available subjects. Timetables Pro uses colors to show each subject’s status clearly:

  • Green: the subject has been successfully assigned to this teacher.
  • Red: the subject is already assigned to another teacher, which prevents duplicates and errors.
Tip: The color system saves time by instantly showing what can be assigned and what is blocked due to an existing assignment.

3) Repeat for all teachers

After finishing the first teacher, move to the next teacher and repeat the same steps until all required subjects are covered.

Why this is faster and safer

Instead of discovering assignment problems later during timetable generation, this workflow keeps your setup organized, reduces errors, and prevents conflicts caused by duplicate subject assignments.
