Step 1: Teacher Setup

Start your school timetable by setting up teachers—add them manually or import from Excel—then print teacher codes for the mobile app.

Step 1: Open the Teachers Page

From the sidebar menu, click: Teachers to open the teacher management page.

Why start with teachers?

A successful school timetable setup starts with accurate teacher data. Once teachers are ready, timetable generation becomes faster, conflicts decrease, and you spend less time on manual edits after creation.

Ways to add teachers

Timetables Pro supports two ways to add teachers based on your school size and workflow:

  • Manual entry: Add each teacher directly inside the system (best for small numbers).
  • Excel import: If you have many teachers, upload an Excel file to add them in bulk and save time.

How to import teachers from Excel

1) Upload the file

Click Import, then choose your Excel file.

2) Preview before importing

After selecting the file, click Preview to verify that the data and columns appear correctly before saving them into the system.

3) Confirm the import

Once everything looks correct, click Import again to complete the process. You’ll see a success message with the number of teachers added.

Tip: If preview looks wrong, check your column names, remove empty rows, then upload the file again.

Print teacher codes

After adding teachers, you can print a unique code for each teacher to use when signing in to the Teachers Mobile App.

Note: On the first sign-in, each teacher will be asked to set a new password for their account.
